Hi. I’m Beatriz

I am from Colombia but for many years living in Miami Florida, therefore my work is influenced by the color of my tropical roots and the environment I live in today. I started painting late in my life but this has not been an impediment for paint become my passion.

I paint in a bright and colorful style, mainly floral acrylic on canvas buzzing with energy and color,  I’m not as concerned with capturing  subject matter exactly as you see it, but instead, I focus on capturing feeling and meaning.  Painting brings me peace, joy, freedom and an opportunity to celebrate beauty around.
